When can I register for the convention?

Right now! Pre-registration opened in October and will remain open through June 15.

How can I upgrade my membership from a single day to the full-weekend?

The best approach is to print out a new registration form with the changes, add a note explaining that you wish to upgrade to the full weekend, and include a check for the difference between the two membership prices.

How do I register for Shore Leave?

You can register in advance by using the online registration form or via postal mail by printing a registration form. Advance registration (aka "pre-registration") ends on June 15, after that you'll be able to register at the door. Please note that all convention memberships are "will call", meaning that you'll actually pick up your convention materials when you arrive at the hotel.

Can I still register for the convention?

Absolutely! Pre-registration is available online and by mail through June 15. After that, at-the-door registration opens at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 6. In addition to purchasing convention memberships, you will also be able to purchase tickets for photo ops.

To avoid disappointment in the event of a sell-out, if you plan to purchase a weekend or Saturday-only membership, we suggest you make your purchase on Friday.

Can I purchase tickets for the autograph line?

No autograph ticket is required. At Shore Leave, your convention membership allows you access to all of our guests' autograph tables. Please note however that our actor guests do charge for their autographs. This transaction is between you and the guest and you pay at the autograph table.

Aimee Garcia and Gates McFadden will each sign one item for no additional charge during the official autograph sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Other than during the official autograph session, they will be charging for their autograph. Please see our Autograph Policy for more information about the official autograph sessions.

Will you mail my tickets or do I pick them up at the con?

All pre-registration memberships are "Will Call." When you arrive at the Hunt Valley Inn on July 15, you'll pick up your badge, program book, and other membership materials at the pre-registration desk in the hotel lobby.

When will registration open?

Pre-registration opened in October. Advance registration will remain open until June 15, 2022, after which registration will only be available at the door.

I'd like to suggest a guest. What's the best way to do that?

Drop a line to the Guest Relations team. Along with the name of the guest you'd like to see, be sure to include the name of the TV shows or movies you know them from, just in case it's one we haven't see yet.

Guest suggestions can be a bit tricky though in that we really can't say anything whether we're going to invite a potential guest. Doing so would run the risk of setting incorrect expectations for the fans, the potential guest, or both. Unfortunately, this often means that the only time you're likely to hear anything about a suggested guest is if we happen to book them.

How do Photo Ops work?

You can register for Photo Ops in advance, or at the convention. (If you choose the latter, it's probably going to be easiest if you plan to pay cash, particularly if you end up buying it right at the Photo Ops line. (If you've already registered for the convention, you can still sign up for Photo Ops online.)

The exact photo op schedule won't be announced until right before the convention, but in general, they start at 10 AM and go until early afternoon. There are different time slots for each actor or group of actors, so you'll want to make sure you know what time you need to be there.

When it's your turn, you walk in, pose with the actor(s) and the photo is taken. There will be some logistics changes this year, but you'll be able to get the photo later that same day, while there's still plenty of time to get it signed. (Please note: the price of a photo op does not include an autograph.)

You can have as many people as you like in the photo, but you only get one print per photo op ticket. (So a group of ten people would need ten tickets if everyone wants a copy.)

Which guests will be participating in the official autograph session?

Aimee Garcia and Gates McFadden will each sign one item for no additional charge during the official autograph sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Other than during the official autograph session, they will be charging for their autograph. All other guests will be charging a fee (amount to be determined by the actor) for their autographs, including Photo Ops photos. Will Aimee Garcia and Gates McFadden be available for autographs at other times?

Most likely! Guests participating in the official autograph sessions are always given the opportunity to have a table outside the official session, and they usually take the opportunity to meet their fans.

How do I purchase advance tickets for a guest's autograph?

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

What do you mean, an African or European Swallow? Numbers for the African swallow are still a bit difficult to come by, but for the European swallow, it appears to be around 10 meters per second. (ref: Estimating the Airspeed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow)
